Olivier Noel is a 2017 Forbes Magazine 30 Under 30 honoree in Science. He’s the founder and CEO of DNAsimple, which helps accelerate genetic research by connecting DNA donors with research scientists, simplifying the process enormously. Olivier has been conducting developmental biology and biomedical science research for over 8 years. He was an American Heart Association and National Institute of Health fellow and has been featured in the New York Daily News, CBS radio, Forbes and other news outlets for his academic and entrepreneurial achievements.
Olivier grew up in Haiti and moved to Queens, NY, where he attended Queens College. He graduated in 2011 with a major in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry and honors in biomedical science research. In 2011, he began training in the Penn State University MSTP MD/PhD program, getting a PhD in biochemistry and molecular genetics. His current research focuses on identifying the genetics behind the positive health effects following bariatric surgery in patients and developing novel therapies for diabetic patients. Olivier is also an avid soccer fan, having played for one of the top schools in Haiti every year in high school and also for the City University of New York (QCC and Queens). His favorite player of all time is Zinedine Zidane.

Played H.S soccer at Archbishop Prendergast High School: Lettered four years in both soccer and lacrosse and also played basketball … Named second team All-Catholic League as a freshman and sophomore and was a first team selection as a junior and senior … Four-time Delaware County Daily Times all-star selection … Named All-Delco second team pick as a senior after being an honorable mention choice the previous two years … In lacrosse was a three-time All-Catholic League selection, three-time All-Delco honoree and four-time Delaware County Daily Times all-star … Scored 100 goals playing lacrosse … Named to the first honor roll all four years.
A 2016 graduate of Gettysburg College, Lafayette Hill native DiGiacomo attended Norwood Fontbonne Academy and then went on to play soccer at Germantown Academy. She was already a starter as a freshman, and then earned All-Inter-Ac League honors in each of the next three seasons. She was a first team pick as a junior and senior, when she also was a team captain. The Patriots won the league championship when she was a freshman, then took the title again in DiGiacomo’s senior season, when she was named Inter-Ac MVP.
As a defender at Gettysburg College, she helped the Bullets tie the school record for single season shutouts twice. When she was a junior, Gettysburg gave up just two goals during regular-season play in the Centennial Conference. In her senior season, the Bulletts went undefeated in the conference and earned a bid to the NCAA tournament, while DiGiacomo was named a first team all-star both in the conference and in her NCAA region.
The Norwood product left Gettysburg with a degree in Organization and Management Studies with a minor in Religious Studies, and she will be an assistant teacher in the Germantown Friends lower school this fall. She has also strengthened her athletic resume by obtaining an NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Coaching Academy National Diploma.
The first female to head the GFS girl’s soccer program, DiGiacomo led the Tigers to a 7-7-1 record this fall season. Some of the season highlights was winning the Quaker Cup and beating hometown rival SCH 1-0.
Justine was a member of the ’88 FC Pennsylvania Strikers team that captured a Region 1 Championship and had a 3rd place finish in the 2007 USYSA National Championships. Justine continued her career playing at Villanova University where she had a succesful career on and off the field while being named a BIG EAST Academic AllStar for all four years. Justine went on to play semi-pro in Ottawa, Canada for the W-League Ottawa Fury alongside fellow coach Teresa Rynier in the summer of 2011, where they went undefeated leading up to the National Championship game. Justine was a member of the US National Team Pool for one year, the USYSA Region 1 Pool for three years, and EPYSA ODP for six years. Justine has coached both the ’93/’94 and ’99/’00 FC Pennsylvania Teams.

Charlie Flowe joined the Philadelphia University men’s soccer staff in August 2016 as assistant coach.
Flowe started his soccer career as a player at Ferguson High School in Newport News, Virginia, where he was named team captain his senior year. After high school, Flowe moved to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University, where earned a Bachelor of Science degree in project operations management. Flowe is a licensed U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) coach and holds a NSCAA Level 1 & 2 goalkeeper diplomas. He’s been a trainer and volunteer coach for the last 15 years in the Philadelphia area and works with Future Captain Sports. He was a founding member of Bella Vista Futbol Club in Philadelphia in 2002, where served as a board member, player and coach until 2013. In the fall of 2015 Flowe was an assistant at Penn State Brandywine where he helped lead the Lions a regular season title.
Previously, Flowe was the lead play-by-play voice for Sky Blue FC in the National Women’s Soccer League. He is the founder and host of the World Sports Show, which is a weekly soccer-based radio show out of Philadelphia. Flowe also served as the play-by-play man for the Pennsylvania Roar of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Flowe also has served as a head coach with Upper Dublin SC and Palumbo Soccer Club.
