The Licensing of both Referees and Coaches is the responsiblity of the Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association (EPSA) in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties in Pennsylvania. In New Jersey it is the responsibility of the New Jersey State Soccer Association
To become either a licensed USSF referee or coach you must contract your state office who will give you information on the requirments for either of the licenses and give you a list of the availble course sessions which you must take in order to be tested to be subsequently licensed. The state offices can also inform you of the continuing education requirements and testing need to retain your license. To contact your state office you can call or write to:
