First Touch Program

Our First Touch toddlers programs provide the first exposure to the game for most children and emphasizes fun, excitement, and positive reinforcement. Separate registration is required per season. Our Toddler programs aim to:

  • Introduce soccer in a developmentally appropriate way.
  • Develop socialization skills and help build a sense of community.
  • Guide parents in age-appropriate soccer activities.

Our early Toddler program is loosely structured, and parental interaction is essential. As your child progresses through the program, a more structured approach to soccer learning is introduced, which requires players to listen and to follow directions, and begins to familiarize players with the concept of teamwork.

Our co-ed in-house program is for children who are just starting out or who enjoy the game but aren’t involved with a travel program. Our professional coaches emphasize team building, fair play, and having fun with soccer, mixing skill training, conditioning, and small-sided games. Our soccer programs are fluid and player focused.

Fairmount Soccer is a volunteer run , non-profit organization that strives to provide high quality instruction and guidance essential for player development, safety, and enjoyment, at as low a cost as possible. Recognizing that the registration fees may be prohibitive for some families, Fairmount Soccer offers scholarships in an effort to insure that no child will be excluded due to economic hardship. For more information about partial and full scholarships, please email:
